John Moyer - President & CEO
John Moyer As President and CEO of BeyondTrust, John Moyer heads one of the most innovative and exciting companies in the enterprise security market today. Already an accomplished entrepreneur having co-founded DesktopStandard in 1998 - leading the company through a recession to return up to 1,400% to its investors - Moyer has already assembled an impressive team of skilled professionals to create a company with strong growth potential.

Moyer holds a M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. His numerous accomplishments include the CMU award for "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 1998. Previously Moyer held management positions at General Electric and was an associate in Ernst & Young's business consulting unit.

Marco Peretti - CTO
Marco Peretti Marco Peretti, as CTO, leads BeyondTrust's engineering efforts to create enterprise security solutions and brings over 15 years of experience to the company's engineering team. Prior to joining BeyondTrust, Peretti was CEO and Founder of NeoValens S.A. where he led the development of the patent-pending technology relating to dynamic per-process privilege management used in BeyondTrust's Privilege Manager.

Peretti received a B.S. in Information Engineering, from Strathclyde University (UK). Peretti founded SecureWave, and led the development of their successful enterprise security solutions to customers with over 100,000 workstations. He later started NeoValens to capitalize on growing industry recognition that least privilege end-users are essential to the success of any desktop security strategy. Peretti has spoken about security at notable security events including RSA and InfoSecurity.

Joseph L'Italien - Vice-President of Sales
Joseph L'Italien Joseph L'Italien leads the growing BeyondTrust Sales team and manages the worldwide network of System Integrators, Value Added Resellers, and Distributors. Prior to joining BeyondTrust, L’Italien led sales at DesktopStandard, where he oversaw average annual growth rates in excess of 100%. He was also a founding member of NetManage and ftp Software, both pioneering internet companies. L'Italien has over 15 years of senior management experience in both domestic and international sales, marketing, business development and general management. He has been a driving force for sales into Fortune 500, Global 2000 and to countless mid-sized companies.

L'Italien holds a B.A. in Marketing from Merrimack College. During his tenure at NetManage, the company grew from zero to $125 million in annual sales, earning the top position in Business Week's "fastest growing US company" two years in a row. He left the NetManage team in 1996 as Managing Director of European Operations. While at ftp Software he grew worldwide annual sales from startup to over $8 million in just 3 years.

Scott McCarley – Director of Marketing
Scott McCarley As Director of Marketing, Scott McCarley promotes BeyondTrust's vision for enterprise security management and its award-winning security products. McCarley brings over 5 years of management and marketing experience with entrepreneurial software companies, including ChannelWave Software. During his tenure at ChannelWave the company grew from startup to a multinational firm with over 250 people.

McCarley holds a M.B.A in Marketing from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.A. in Biology from Colby College. While at ChannelWave he managed project delivery and helped his clients including Intel, Nortel, and 3Com to develop and manage their channel sales and marketing. At information technology outsourcing consulting firm RampRate Inc, McCarley oversaw the partner program and channel marketing, ensuring that RampRate established and maintained partnerships with the top 150 outsourcing vendors such as IBM, Akamai, and Cogent.
